Packing Supervisor (Female)

As a Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of packaging operators. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing guidance, training, and support to the packaging operators. - Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules to meet deadlines. - Conducting regular inspections of packaging equipment and addressing any issues immediately. - Making entries and analyzing data in TNT app for track and trace purposes. - Allocating work for manpower and monitoring their performance. - Receiving work-in-progress goods from the production supervisor and acknowledging the receipt. - Handing over finished goods to the dispatch section and obtaining their signatures accordingly. - Taking responsibility for machine-related breakdowns and maintaining cleaning documentation. - Coordinating with maintenance teams to schedule routine equipment maintenance and repairs. - Maintaining accurate records of production, including packaging quantities, downtime, and quality control checks. - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. - Monitoring the work efficiency of operators and packers. - Coordinating with the dispatch section and accounts section for any queries. - Providing packing and finished goods updates to the accounts department. - Updating quality documents and maintaining quality requirements in the packing area. - Preparing indents of packing material and receiving stock from the packing material store. - Communicating and reporting day-to-day activities related to dispatch and packaging to the factory manager. - Supervising the production, quality, and warehousing of products in line with company service and cost objectives. - Directing the work of Packaging Line Operators. - Preparing packaging lists as per sales orders to arrange dispatches. - Maintaining a clean work environment and elevating housekeeping standards for all operators in the packaging areas. - Measuring line efficiency and current practices to develop and implement improvements. - Training subordinates on printing and ensuring their capability in related departments. - Training subordinates on the quality of packing to avoid rejection.
