Job Title: Packaging Team Leader (Packaging TL)

Department: Warehouse / Operations
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager
Location: As per site requirement

Job Summary

The Packaging Team Leader is responsible for supervising packaging operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining quality standards, and managing packaging staff efficiently to meet daily dispatch targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily packaging activities
• Allocate manpower and assign packaging tasks shift-wise
• Ensure correct packaging as per SKU, order, and quality standards
• Monitor productivity and meet daily/weekly packaging targets
• Maintain packaging material stock (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.)
• Reduce packaging damage, wastage, and rework
• Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and documentation
• Train new packaging staff on SOPs and safety guidelines
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift records of the team
• Coordinate with Dispatch, QC, and Inventory teams
• Follow workplace safety and housekeeping standards

Skills & Requirements

• Experience in packaging operations (warehouse / manufacturing)
• Ability to handle 40–60 manpower
• Basic knowledge of packaging materials and processes
• Understanding of quality control standards
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel / WMS preferred)
• Good communication and leadership skills

Qualification

• Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
• Diploma or relevant experience preferred

Experience

• 2–5 years in packaging or warehouse operations
• Minimum 1 year experience as Team Leader / Supervisor preferred

Salary

• As per industry standards and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
