Who we are looking for

We have initiated multiple manufacturing projects in South India to service our markets in the UK and the United States, which need focused attention locally. We are seeking a Packaging Technologist to participate in these initiatives, based in Coimbatore.

Job Responsibility:

• Produce sample packaging to test different materials and designs.
• Run production trials.
• Make sure packaging meets quality standards and is safe.
• Work closely with product designers and production engineers.
• Work out ways to make packaging more environmentally friendly.
• Write technical reports.
• Designing production templates
• Operating packaging equipment
• Coordinating package testing.
• Minimizing waste
• Cutting down costs

Desired Candidate Profile:

A candidate with a Degree in Packaging with expertise in AutoCAD. The candidate should possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in a Food MNC.

• Expertise in AutoCAD designing
• Artwork revision and coordination
• Should know Adobe Illustrator.
• Creation and revision of drawings
• Previous experience leading technical teams, such as machine operators for similar operations, is desirable
• Development of new packaging components and revision of existing packaging components
• Specification development with coordination with the US and UK counterparts
• Vendor development and qualifications
• Troubleshooting
• Willing to travel
