As the Manager of Packaging at a company in India, your role involves overseeing the Quality of the Packaging Department and performing various job-related responsibilities. Here's a breakdown of your responsibilities: **Role Overview:** You are responsible for managing continuous improvement and packaging innovation, coordinating job-related activities, supporting packaging production, providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, managing packaging copy content, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, resolving issues with packaging content, and developing external communications for consistent global execution of packaging specifications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage continuous improvement and packaging innovation by reviewing internal processes, developing objectives for refining business processes, keeping up-to-date on technology and industry standards, managing packaging solutions, and working upstream to reduce packaging issues. - Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying goals and objectives, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning. - Support packaging production by evaluating and appointing packaging resources, analyzing key metrics, advising on industry standards, and conducting cost negotiations. - Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and ensuring diversity awareness. - Manage and develop packaging copy content for Members Mark, collaborate with the design team, prioritize projects, write complex content, and establish communication objectives and style. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and resolve issues with packaging content. - Develop external communications to ensure consistent global execution of packaging specifications by collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing presentations, and posting reference materials. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Packaging, English, or related field with over 10 years of experience in the packaging industry, branding, packaging design/structure, retail, or related area. - Master's degree in Packaging, Branding, English, or related field is preferred. - Experience working with packaging structure design, furniture packaging, Microsoft Office, and supervisory roles is desirable. You are expected to demonstrate leadership qualities such as respecting individuals, acting with integrity, serving customers and members, striving for excellence, and engaging in physical activities and travel as necessary for the role.,
