Job Overview:

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective packaging solutions that protect products, meet brand and regulatory requirements, and support sustainability goals. The role includes working with cross-functional teams, overseeing packaging production, and improving processes for efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Development

• Create innovative and cost-effective packaging designs.
• Develop mock-ups, prototypes & technical drawings.

2. Material Selection & Testing

• Research and evaluate materials & technologies.
• Conduct tests for durability, safety & compliance.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain & Quality teams.
• Provide technical support during product development.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure packaging meets quality, regulatory & sustainability standards.
• Maintain specifications & documentation.

5. Project Management

• Lead packaging projects from concept to launch.
• Manage timelines, budgets & vendor coordination.

6. Process Optimization

• Improve packaging processes to reduce cost & waste.
• Implement efficiency-driven solutions.

7. Production Oversight

• Work with manufacturing teams for consistent production.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues.

8. Market & Trend Analysis

• Stay updated on industry trends & new technologies.
• Recommend innovative packaging ideas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: BE in Packaging/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in packaging design, development & project management.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of materials, design methods, testing & manufacturing processes.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, teamwork, attention to detail.
• Business Acumen: Ability to align packaging solutions with business goals and budgets.
