Job Description

PAAS/DBA L2-L3 Engineer

Experience: 6+

Mode of Hire : Fulltime

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Database Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database administration. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Oracle ASM, RAC, and OEM , VMware vCenter , Windows and Linux server administration , and DevOps tools such as Terraform and Ansible . This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security, while contributing to automation and infrastructure improvements through collaborative teamwork and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Administration

Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and high-availability solutions
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database environments across production, test, and development landscapes.
Manage Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) , configure and monitor Real Application Clusters (RAC) , and administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive database monitoring and management.
Perform advanced database performance tuning , query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance.
Implement, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions ( RMAN , SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups , log shipping, replication).
