Overseas Education Tele-Counsellor (0-1 year)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Overseas Education Tele-Counsellor who will engage with student leads through high-volume outbound and inbound calls (150–200 calls per day). The role focuses on guiding students interested in studying abroad, understanding their aspirations, and converting inquiries into successful applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make 150–200 outbound/inbound calls daily to student leads to understand their study abroad goals.
• Provide accurate information on overseas education options, including countries, universities, courses, eligibility, and intake timelines.
• Counsel students on admission procedures, application steps, visa basics, and scholarship opportunities.
• Qualify leads, address queries, and convert prospects into active applicants through effective tele-counselling.
• Conduct regular follow-ups via calls, WhatsApp, and emails to ensure timely application progress.
• Assist students with documentation requirements such as SOPs, LORs, resumes, and application checklists.
• Maintain and update student data, call logs, and follow-up status in CRM systems.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion targets.
• Coordinate with internal counselling and operations teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
• Stay updated on study abroad trends, intake deadlines, and university requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication and convincing skills.
• Comfortable with high-volume calling (150–200 calls/day) and target-oriented work.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to understand student needs and offer suitable study abroad solutions.
• Basic understanding of overseas education or visa processes is an advantage (training provided).
• Proficiency in MS Office, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-driven.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and interest in overseas education are welcome.
• Prior experience in tele-calling, counselling, sales, or customer support is a plus.
