Engineer – Outfitting (Cadmatic User)

As discussed briefly earlier, please consider this message as both a contact exchange and a formal outline of the assignment we are interested in. We are currently exploring possibilities to identify one or more qualified piping/outfitting engineers for our upcoming projects.

The selected candidate(s) may work on-site initially and later remotely, depending on performance and project arrangements.

Position Title

Engineer – Outfitting (Cadmatic User)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Shipbuilding Engineering, preferably with specialization in Installations and Propulsion Machinery

or an equivalent discipline aligned with shipbuilding faculty programs

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience:

In a shipyard, or

In a design company operating in the shipbuilding/marine sector

Experience outside this domain will not be considered relevant

Technical Skills & Software Requirements

Mandatory (Must-Have)

Cadmatic Outfitting – Designer (User level) with strong hands-on experience in:

Routing piping in 3D model according to Process & Technical (PT) requirements

Preparing assembly drawings

Preparing spools and isometric drawings

Generating MTO lists, cut lists, and related outputs

Using Component Manager for:

Equipment

Structures

Geometry building

Additional Software (Minimum Medium Level Required)

AutoCAD 2D

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Language Skills

Good command of English (spoken and written)

Additional Advantage (Plus)

Knowledge of Cadmatic Outfitting Administration

The higher the level of administrative knowledge, the higher the appreciation and value

Work Location & Mode

Initial On-site Work:

First 2 weeks in Jaipur, India

Company will provide accommodation during this period

Post Initial Period:

Work From Home (WFH) allowed only if efficiency is maintained above 95%

If efficiency drops below 95%, WFH may continue but candidate must arrange accommodation independently

Contract Duration

2-year employment contract

Training & Commitment Clause

Company will provide training as required

If the employee resigns before completing 2 years, they will be required to reimburse the training cost, as applicable and defined in the contract

Travel & Site Visits

Occasional on-site visits during the year may be required
