OT Staff Nurse

Prepares the operating room, ensures sterile conditions, assists surgeons and anesthetists during procedures, monitors patients before, during, and after surgery (vitals, bleeding, recovery), manages surgical supplies, and maintains accurate documentation, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in a surgical setting.

• Pre-Operative:
• Prepare and stock the operating room with sterile instruments and equipment.
• Receive patients, verify identity, and assess readiness for surgery.
• Ensure monitoring equipment (vitals, oxygen) and emergency crash carts are functional.
• Intra-Operative (During Surgery):
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists by anticipating needs and providing instruments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Act as a liaison for blood products or emergency supplies.
• Post-Operative:
• Care for patients in the recovery area, checking vitals and surgical sites.
• Organize patient transport to wards/ICU.
• Prepare the OR for the next case, including cleaning and waste disposal.
• General Duties:
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
• Manage stock and inventory of surgical supplies.
• Provide patient/family education and emotional support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
