Job Description

Assist consultants in OPD, ward rounds, emergency, and operation theatre.
Manage admissions, patient history taking, clinical examination, and documentation.
Provide first-line management for orthopedic emergencies (fractures, dislocations, trauma).
Assist in surgical procedures such as fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and wound care.
Perform basic orthopedic procedures: plaster application, splinting, suturing, dressing changes, and removal of stitches/casts.
Monitor pre-operative and post-operative patients, ensure proper follow-up care.
Coordinate with nursing staff, physiotherapy, radiology, and other support departments.
Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, and discharge summaries.
Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
