As an Oracle SCM Technical Consultant at Emerson, your role is to work on Oracle enhancements and support projects. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Users, and Technical team members to gather requirements, analyze, and provision various IT projects. The ideal candidate for this position should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly innovative, and able to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Gathering and documenting requirements using AIM / OUM or other prescribed methodologies. - Maintaining and enhancing existing Oracle Apps / Fusion modules. - Developing customizations to Oracle Apps modules. - Providing estimates for enhancements and bug fixes. - Participating in design reviews and discussions. - Resolving SRs (Service Requests) related to Oracle Apps. - Participating in team meetings. - Documenting ways to improve existing team processes. - Providing regular progress reports to team management. - Developing strong relationships with business product owners and other stakeholders. - Ensuring change/feature enhancement requirements are implemented accurately and on time. - Collaborating with affected business areas to identify, create, and implement business requirements effectively. - Continually building knowledge and proficiency in applications development and changes in technology. To excel in this role, you will need to: - Have experience working with/Implementing Fusion SCM modules. - Have 7 to 10 years of experience in SCM modules, preferably Quote, Order Management & Advanced Pricing. - Possess knowledge of fulfillment cycles in Oracle Fusion SCM. - Have knowledge of Advance Pricing & Intercompany processes. - Be familiar with Core Oracle Applications tech stack SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, Workflows, APIs, BEPL, Java, ADF, BI Publisher. - Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to translate requirements into design documents. - Document using OUM methodology. - Have knowledge of Oracle's AIM methodology and experience writing BR030s, MD050s, MD070s, and MD120s. - Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge to problems quickly. - Work effectively as part of a team. - Follow well-defined release management processes. - Multitask and stay focused on release priorities. - Have a solid business understanding of ERP Oracle Modules such as quoting, order management, supply chain, and distribution processes.
