Job Description

Functional EPBCS having implementation and rollout experience of Oracle EPM-PBCS

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
  2. Conduct gap analysis to understand how current processes align with Oracle EPBCS capabilities.
  3. Provide functional expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Design & Implementation:

  1. Design and configure Oracle EPBCS solutions to meet business requirements.
  2. Develop and manage calculation scripts, business rules, data forms, and dashboards.
  3. Set up metadata structures such as dimensions, hierarchies, and members.

Technical Configuration & Development:

  1. Perform integration of Oracle EPBCS with ERP systems, including data migration, interfaces, and APIs.
  2. Design and develop custom reports, forms, and processes within EPBCS.
  3. Work on technical troubleshooting and optimization of the system.

Testing & Deployment:

  1. Develop and execute test cases for system validation (UAT, SIT).
  2. Manage deployment activities, including go-live planning and post-go-live support.
  3. Conduct training for end users and prepare documentation for functional and technical teams.

Post-Implementation Support:

  1. Provide ongoing support for Oracle EPBCS post-implementation.
  2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  3. Maintain and update technical documentation.

Collaboration & Communication:

  1. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  2. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to project managers and business leads.
  3. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions with end users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Functional Expertise:

  1. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  2. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Oracle EPBCS solutions.
  3. Experience with Oracle EPM modules like Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), EDMCS , is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in EPBCS components: Business Rules, Calculation Manager, Data Management, Smart View, EPM Automate.
  2. Experience in building forms, reports, and dashboards.
  3. Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, Essbase, and Hyperion Planning.
  4. Experience with data integration techniques and API management.

Soft Skills:

  1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  2. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  4. Project management experience is a plus.
  5. Education & Certifications:

    Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  6. Oracle EPM Cloud certification (EPBCS) preferred.
  7. 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM implementation and support.
