Your role in the Motion 2.0 Transformation Program is crucial in enabling business divisions to pursue their strategies through integrated end-to-end processes, information availability, and better customer experience. The Motion ERP utilizing S/4HANA technology will serve as an architectural foundation for the targeted end-to-end digitalization of business value chain processes. As the MO SAP S/4 Solution Architect, your primary responsibility is to establish a common way of working across functional areas, ensuring that architecture, data, and integration standards are defined and applied to meet business needs effectively. Collaboration with functional expert teams and IS solution architects is essential to optimize the use of the ERP platform. You will also play a key role in assessing ERP solution migration and transformation challenges, striving towards future architecture. Effective problem-solving, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration are essential elements for success in this role. The work model for this role is hybrid, and it is open globally. However, the preferred locations are in ABB MO lead countries and major locations closer to the European time zone such as Finland, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, and India. Traveling is required, periodically exceeding 50%. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the process for reviewing and validating design, approval, and sign-off of technical & solution implementation in production - Defining and owning the overall IS platform architecture, including technical components, modules, and integration to S/4HANA technology extensions - Keeping the target solution architecture up-to-date and documenting roadmap changes impacting the wider architecture - Collaborating with IS architects and other IS solutions architects to manage dependencies & risks and evolve digitalization maturity of the architecture - Communicating standard S/4HANA platform enhancements to ensure functional leads/process experts are informed about the latest features - Staying updated on S/4HANA technology roadmap and best practices, benchmarking the MO solution and leading MO functional requirements towards SAP - Supporting IS Functional Leads in deciding how requirements can be covered by standard functionalities vs. customization approach - Validating business and functional requirements with Process Owners/experts and IS Business & Functional Analyst to ensure proper allocation of processes to respective applications Qualifications for the role include: - Good business acumen in understanding business use of application functionalities - Experience with large company-wide/cross-business ERP implementations - Competence in SAP ECC & S/4HANA application lifecycle management - IT management experience in a complex, global IS organization - 10+ years of IT experience as a Functional Analyst and Solution Architect - Expertise in integrating other technologies with ERP supporting distinct business processes - Fluency in English, with knowledge of other languages being beneficial - Strong networking and stakeholder relationship-building skills - Excellent communication skills to influence through solution & process competence At ABB, we value diversity and encourage individuals from various backgrounds to apply for career opportunities. This includes researching and profiling data sources in data categories of expertise Evaluating dependences, interfaces and specifying inputs and formatting outputs to meet the business Responsible for defining Non-Functional Requirements. Your skills and experience/Qualifications Overall 10+ years of Experience Exposure to Regulatory Reporting framework Experience in a Banking /Wealth management domain and/or related support functions including understanding of products, business and operational processes, with exposure to business analysis will be required. Experience of working in Agile Environment.
