Oracle R12 ASCP/Demantra Functional Consultant

Experience :

Oracle R12 Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Demantra Functional Consultant

The consultant will work closely with business users, technical teams, and Oracle Support to ensure smooth operations of ASCP and Demantra modules in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide

  functional support

  for Oracle R12

  ASCP and Demantra modules

  in support model.
• Handle

  incident management, service requests (SRs), and problem resolution

  within agreed SLAs.
• Perform

  root cause analysis

  for recurring issues and provide permanent fixes.
• Work with business users to gather requirements for minor enhancements, perform

  impact analysis

  , and coordinate changes with technical teams.
• Support

  integration points

  between ASCP/Demantra and other Oracle modules (INV, BOM, WIP, PO, OM).
• Monitor ASCP collections, planning runs, and Demantra workflows ensuring timely execution and troubleshooting failures.
• Manage

  data issues

  , including forecast data, planning collections, and demand/supply discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Oracle Support (SRs) to resolve critical application issues.
• Support

  patch testing, upgrades, and regression testing

  .
• Document functional specifications, test scripts, and user training guides.
• Provide

  knowledge transfer and user training

  to business and IT teams.

  Required Skills & Experience

• 7 10 years of functional experience

  in Oracle R12

  ASCP and Demantra

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Supply Chain Planning processes

  : demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, and sales & operations planning.
• Hands-on experience with:

  • ASCP collections, plan runs, exception handling, and plan outputs

    .

  • Demantra workflows, forecasting engine, series configuration, and worksheets

    .
• Experience in

  support/AMS projects

  with incident, problem, and change management.
• Knowledge of

  data flow between Demantra, ASCP, and EBS modules

  .
• Familiarity with

  performance tuning and troubleshooting

  planning runs and workflows.
• Strong understanding of

  integration with ERP modules

  : INV, BOM, WIP, OM, PO.
• Experience with

  SQL queries

  for issue investigation and data validation.
