Job Description

As an OIPA Developer / Configurator, you will collaborate closely with members of the Development, business, and technical teams to assess and maintain existing business and technical requirements utilized for configuring the OIPA system. Your main focus will be on addressing issues related to data, interfaces, integrations, or cycles. Your responsibilities will include evaluating specifications for complex business requirements and processes, both new and existing, and developing technical solutions and related documentation. You will conduct functional gap analyses, review design documents, and actively participate in design reviews. Furthermore, you will interpret architectural and technical design documents to create complex OIPA transactions and processes by employing best practice configuration techniques. In this role, you will design logical queries to support calculations, reporting, and intricate formulas. You will also be tasked with researching and rectifying defects, developing Technical Design Documents, and conducting code reviews. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing AsFile, Real-time, and Push integration services, as well as researching system capabilities for integrating product, service, and technical solutions to benefit business partners. Your expertise in REST services implementation, entity-based logical modeling, and data throughput optimization will be crucial. It is essential that you strictly adhere to established OIPA integration best practices and demonstrate proficiency in working under Agile project methodologies. A solid understanding of database concepts, SQL query building, and optimization is also required. Familiarity with insurance life and health products for individual, group, and worksite markets is preferred, as well as experience in configuring life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11. Expertise in XSLT and OIPA configuration will be an added advantage. Basic Qualifications: - Possess 5+ years of experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration Development and Integrations (OIPAI, SOA, or MuleSoft). Preferences/Nice to have: - Knowledge of Oracle SOA and BPM. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.,
