Oracle OIC Integration Consultant

The role of an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer requires a skilled individual with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based integrations. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth expertise in OIC, XML/JSON/XSLT, and REST/SOAP APIs. They should be adept at independently managing integration projects involving Oracle SaaS and third-party systems. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The candidate will work with various OIC adapters like file-based, REST, and SOAP adapters. They will utilize key OIC components such as Lookups, Connections, Agents, Packages, and XSLT transformations. The Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrations between Oracle SaaS applications and third-party systems. Implementing effective error handling and logging mechanisms in integrations is crucial. Collaboration with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions is also part of the role. Participation in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities is essential. Ensuring reusability, scalability, and maintainability of integration components is a key focus. Contribution to at least two full-cycle OIC implementation projects is expected. Required skills for this role include proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation techniques. A strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs is necessary. Experience in integrating with Oracle SaaS/ERP systems and solid knowledge of integration architecture, security, and performance tuning are vital. Preferred skills include exposure to Oracle Supply Planning Cloud modules, experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), and familiarity with agile project methodologies.,
