Job Description

Oracle HCM Time & Absence Product & Configuration Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities

  • SME Leadership

    : Act as the primary

    Oracle HCM Time & Absence SME

    during implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support phases.
  • Requirements & Configuration

    : Gather, analyze, and meticulously document business requirements related to

    Time & Absence policies and processes

    . Configure and maintain Oracle Time and Absence modules, including

    Time Cards, Absence Types, Time Entry Rules, Approval Hierarchies, and Work Schedules

    .
  • Solution Design

    : Design and implement time and attendance solutions that are precisely aligned with organizational needs and compliance requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    : Collaborate effectively with

    HR, Payroll, and IT teams

    to seamlessly integrate Oracle Time & Absence with other Oracle HCM modules and third-party systems.
  • Testing Leadership

    : Lead comprehensive testing efforts, including

    unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

    .
  • Troubleshooting & Support

    : Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve issues related to time and absence configuration and functionality.
  • Training & Documentation

    : Develop robust training materials and conduct engaging training sessions for end-users and HR teams.
  • Continuous Improvement

    : Stay updated on

    Oracle HCM Time & Absence module enhancements

    and industry best practices.
  • Post-Implementation Support

    : Support change management activities and provide robust post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience

    : Must have

    5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Time & Absence configuration and implementation

    .
  • Module Knowledge

    : Strong knowledge of

    Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Absence modules and business processes

    .
  • Upgrade & Patch Management

    : Experience with

    Oracle HCM Cloud upgrade and patch application cycles

    .
  • Compliance & Policy

    : Solid understanding of

    time and labor laws, compliance, and HR policies

    related to attendance and leave management.
  • Techno-Functional Translation

    : Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical configurations.
  • Core Skills

    : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Integration

    : Experience with

    Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST APIs for interfacing

    is a plus.
  • Certification

    : Certification in

    Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Absence (preferred)

    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Time & Absence SME or in a similar functional consulting role.
