Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (US Payroll)

About the Role

We're looking for an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (US Payroll) who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology. You'll play a key role in implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, working closely with HR and Payroll teams to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and bring efficiency through functional expertise. This role gives you the opportunity to work on end-to-end HCM Cloud implementations, collaborate with global teams, and make a direct impact on HR operations.

What You'll Do:

Drive end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud US Payroll, from requirements gathering to go-live.

Collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders to understand business needs and configure payroll processes accordingly.

Conduct fit-gap analysis, recommend solutions, and ensure compliance with US payroll laws.

Partner with technical teams for data conversion, integrations, and reporting.

Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs) and resolve functional issues.

Deliver functional documentation, training, and knowledge sharing sessions for end users.

Stay updated with Oracle release updates and statutory payroll changes; recommend process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on functional experience in Oracle HCM Cloud with at least 12 full-cycle US Payroll implementations.

Strong understanding of US payroll compliance, tax rules, and statutory updates.

Proficiency in configuring payroll processes, Fast Formulas, and HCM reporting tools.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a global team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-first mind-set.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Oracle HCM certification (especially US Payroll).

Hands-on experience with test automation tools for Oracle HCM.

Exposure to additional modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, or Benefits.
