Role Overview: As a Business Analysis in the Technology Career Framework at EY, you will play a crucial role in evaluating business models, processes, and operations to understand business needs and requirements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and providing insights on system and technical components for the technical design. You will interact with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring that the solutions and technologies being implemented meet the business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Review materials and support in meetings with business stakeholders to understand and gather business/functional requirements, undertake client assessments, and build relationships with stakeholders. - Collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into complex technical requirements, produce technical specifications for system architectural design, and ensure the completeness of requirements through quality assurance tasks. - Monitor and report on potential risks/opportunities of emerging technologies, provide recommendations for system and technical components, and contribute to the design and review of test cases. - Contribute to business case development, complete RFP responses, and explore new and existing data to address defined business problems. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in gathering and interpreting business requirements. - Experience in developing technical requirements and specifications, including knowledge of software engineering methodologies, reporting tools, and testing. - Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Modelling and Notation. - Knowledge of application building using Python would be an added advantage.
