Job Description

Oracle PPM Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, including Project Costing, Billing, and Oracle Time and Labor.
  • Design and document solutions that meet business process needs and ensure compliance with organizational goals.
  • Configure and test Oracle PPM modules to address specific project requirements, including setup for Project Contracts, Project Accounting, Project Billing, Project Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting, Grants, and Asset Capitalization.
  • Lead and participate in design workshops, functional process mapping, CRP, UAT, SIT sessions, and support system upgrades as needed.
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance on integrations between PPM and other modules such as Financials, SCM, and HCM.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration, manage issue resolution, and conduct data migration exercises (FBDI, ADFDI).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive functional design documentation, user manuals, and training materials for end-users.
  • Train and support users on Oracle PPM processes and best practices while staying updated on latest Oracle PPM trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle Cloud PPM including at least 1–2 full end-to-end implementation cycles.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Oracle PPM modules, such as Project Costing, Billing, Project Contracts, Project Accounting, and Grants.
  • Proficiency with configuration, data migration, interface development, workflows, and related Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, FRS, SmartView).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum project delivery models with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using incident management tools (e.g., JIRA) and working collaboratively with distributed teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
