Job Description

Job Summary

  • Design solution for business processing using Oracle E-Business Suite, Cloud Fusion & other custom applications (GL, AP, AR, AR Collections, Oracle Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects, Lease Management).
  • Participate in IT workshops with business to understand system requirements.
  • Perform business requirement gathering, gap analysis, configuration, solution design, process flows, functional specifications, and data conversion.
  • Work closely with cross-functional and user management teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and change requests.
  • Design various custom interfaces to integrate with third-party applications and legacy systems.
  • Support integrated SCM modules (PO, OM, INV) and costing functionalities.
  • Provide solutions, map business requirements, and support custom IT applications.
  • Participate in designing data lakes and assist in building reports using reporting tools (OBIEE, XML Publisher, PL/SQL, Fusion OTBI).
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, and monitoring programs for finance data.
  • Prepare functional design documents such as BR100, MD50, TE20.
  • Conduct solution design review discussions with technical teams.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for upgrades, development, and support.
  • Perform setups, SIT, UAT, and track Oracle SRs.
  • Assist in training material, documentation, and provide post go-live support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5–6 years of Techno-Functional experience in Oracle Finance modules.
  • Expertise in Intercompany Accounting, Sub Ledger Accounting Rules, and OneSource Tax Engine integration.
  • Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, FRS, FRC, SmartView).
  • Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience.
  • Procurement & Supply Chain knowledge is a plus.
  • Oracle Cloud Fusion experience with OIC exposure required.
  • Familiarity with Middleware, Integration, and Infrastructure concepts is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience delivering MD050, BR100, and independently handling interface & integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, technical data conversion, and Oracle Finance extensions.
  • Ability to build standalone custom applications and integrations with Oracle solutions.
  • Capability to handle projects independently with business customers.
  • Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
  • Industry experience in wholesale, retail, or manufacturing.
