Oracle FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence) Developer Construction & Manufacturing

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Developer to design, develop, and support analytics and reporting solutions for our construction and manufacturing operations. The role involves leveraging Oracle FDI / FAW, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) to provide actionable insights across project execution, procurement, production, supply chain, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration & Modeling

• Develop, configure, and maintain data pipelines between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, SCM, Projects, HCM) and FDI / ADW.
• Extend prebuilt FDI data models to include construction project metrics, manufacturing KPIs, and custom operational data.
• Integrate data from on-premise systems (MES, IoT sensors, Primavera, etc.) into FDI via Data Augmentation or Data Flows.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and refresh schedules across multiple environments.

Analytics & Dashboard Development

• Build interactive dashboards and KPIs in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to monitor project cost vs. budget, material procurement, inventory levels, production throughput, resource utilization, and vendor performance.
• Enable self-service analytics for project managers and business leaders.

Performance & Optimization

• Monitor data refresh jobs and ETL performance within FDI.
• Optimize data models, aggregates, and caching for high performance across large construction/manufacturing datasets.
• Implement best practices for query performance tuning and data partitioning.

Security & Compliance

• Apply row-level security and role-based access in OAC and FDI.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, ISO, and industry reporting standards.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to understand reporting needs.
• Document all custom data models, dashboards, and integrations for support continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in Oracle Analytics, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), or Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
• Expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) – DV, data modeling, RPD, and KPI development.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing skills in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and SCM modules (especially Projects, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Financials).
• Experience integrating external data sources (Excel, on-prem databases, IoT feeds) into FDI.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations (BOM, WIP, quality) and construction project lifecycles (budgeting, scheduling, cost control).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• Oracle certifications in FDI/FAW or Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with Primavera P6, IoT, or PLM data integration is a plus.
• Exposure to Power BI or Tableau (for hybrid reporting environments) is advantageous.
