Job Description

As a Database Administrator at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to database administration, design, troubleshooting, and replication. This full-time hybrid role, primarily based in Mumbai, offers the flexibility of some work from home. Your role will involve working with Oracle Exadata/ExaCC systems, including tasks such as patching, upgrades, installation, and maintenance on cluster and Engineered systems. To excel in this role, you should possess strong Database Administration and Database Design skills, knowledge of Replication techniques, Dataguard, and OGG. Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata and ExaCC systems is essential, along with expertise in Database Installation, Patching, Upgrade/Migrate, and maintenance. You should also have a knack for database performance tuning and troubleshooting, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration are key aspects of this role, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders within the organization. Relevant certifications in database administration will be an added advantage to showcase your expertise in this field.
