Oracle EBS Tester

Skilled and detail-oriented Oracle EBS Quality Engineer with over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, system integration, and defect troubleshooting within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Financials, including modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Accounts Receivable (AR). They will play a key role in ensuring end-to-end system quality and performance across complex financial landscapes, with a focus on seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for Oracle EBS and its integrated modules (AP, GL, AR, etc). Analyze functional specifications and technical documents to derive test conditions and coverage. Validate end-to-end data flow between EBS and integrated systems such as RMS, AIMS, WMS, and Order Management. Troubleshoot system and data issues by analyzing logs, database records, and middleware traces (SOA/OSB if applicable). Perform impact analysis and validate change requests and patch deployments. Drive SIT/UAT planning and defect triage coordination with business and technical teams. Automate test cases using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca) as needed. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams to ensure quality and stability in every release. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS or related Oracle Financial modules. Strong understanding of EBS integration points and data flow between Oracle Financial suite components and third-party systems. Proven experience in writing SQL queries and validating backend financial data. Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across application, database, and middleware layers. Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models. Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc) and test management tools. Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle EBS or upgrade projects. Knowledge of financial business processes such as accounts payable, general ledger, invoice matching, and financial reporting. Exposure to test automation frameworks is a plus
