Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Engage closely with clients, functional consultants, and stakeholders to comprehensively gather, analyze, and validate technical requirements from multiple sources, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Configure and optimize Oracle ERP environments, support customizations, and oversee complex integrations to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
• Serve as a key technical resource throughout Oracle ERP lifecycle projects, including new implementations, system enhancements, upgrades, and geographic rollouts.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical design documentation, unit test plans, and support materials adhering to Oracle best practices and organizational standards.
• Collaborate frequently with functional teams to iteratively refine technical designs, ensuring seamless integration between business requirements and IT solutions.
• Successfully manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines, ensuring all development complies with established coding standards and quality benchmarks.
• Produce comprehensive functional and technical design specifications, accompanied by clear and accessible documentation for cross-team collaboration.
• Lead the definition and validation of future-state ("To-Be") business processes, providing technical support during configuration, system testing, and user acceptance phases.
• Architect, build, and rigorously test interfaces connecting Oracle ERP with legacy and third-party systems to guarantee data integrity and real-time synchronization.
• Implement proactive issue identification and resolution mechanisms by actively monitoring system performance and coordinating troubleshooting efforts with support teams.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and knowledge sharing within the technical community to drive continuous ERP platform enhancement and team growth.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on development experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, specializing in a range of technical components and tools.
• Proven expertise in data migration for various Oracle modules, including Human Resources (workers, user roles), Receivables, Procurement, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Assets, and General Ledger.
• Strong functional understanding of Oracle ERP modules in Finance, Procurement, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and HCM Cloud, with the ability to bridge the gap between business processes and technical solutions.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and deploying secure, accurate, and repeatable data migration strategiesleveraging Oracle-native tools (such as FBDI, ADFDI, Data Pump, and APIs) to ensure data integrity and compliance during cutover.
• Experience in conducting data extraction, mapping, transformation, and loading activities, applying best practices for data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
• Capability to coordinate complex integrations and automations to streamline business workflows within the Oracle Cloud environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to both business requirements and technical detail.
