Key Responsibilities

Functional Architecture & Solution Design

• Act as the

  SCM Functional Architect

  for Oracle EBS, designing scalable solutions aligned with business and manufacturing processes.
• Define

  end-to-end Supply Chain and Manufacturing architecture

  including BOM, WIP, Inventory, Purchasing, and Order Management.
• Provide

  solution blueprints, process flows, and functional architecture documents

  .

Business Analysis

• Lead

  business requirement gathering workshops

  with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into

  functional specifications (BRD, FRD, MD50)

  .
• Perform

  gap analysis

  between business processes and Oracle EBS standard functionality.
• Recommend

  best-practice solutions

  to optimize SCM processes.

Manufacturing & SCM Expertise

• Drive functional ownership for:
  

• Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Work in Process (WIP)

• Inventory (INV)

• Purchasing (PO)

• Order Management (OM)

• Support

  production planning, shop floor execution, material transactions, and cost tracking

  .
• Work closely with Planning/ASCP teams where applicable.
  

Implementation & Support

• Lead

  SCM functional streams

  during Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Support

  SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities

  .
• Provide

  post-production support

  and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with

  technical teams

  for RICE components, interfaces, reports, and conversions.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the

  primary functional SPOC

  for SCM and Manufacturing streams.
• Work with

  business leaders, plant managers, supply chain teams, and IT stakeholders

  .
• Conduct

  status reviews, solution walkthroughs, and design validations

  .

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  

• BOM (Bill of Materials)

• WIP (Work in Process)

• SCM (Supply Chain Management)

• Extensive experience as:
  

• Oracle EBS Functional Architect

• Business Analyst for Manufacturing & SCM

• Deep functional knowledge of:
  
• Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management (as part of SCM)
  
• Oracle EBS R12 / R11 experience (Implementation, Rollout, Support)
  
• Strong experience in:
  
• Business requirement analysis
  
• Process mapping & re-engineering
  
• Functional design documentation
  
• Solution architecture
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Good to Have

• ASCP / MRP / Planning exposure
  
• Costing and Production Accounting
  
• Integration experience with MES / 3rd party manufacturing systems

Education

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
