About the Role

Software QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements, resolve ambiguities, and provide inputs as needed
  • Create and review

    Test Plans

    and

    Test Cases

  • Apply appropriate

    test design techniques

    for given requirements
  • Execute manual test cases and report defects using tools like

    JIRA

    or

    TFS

  • Prepare

    test metrics and reports

    for stakeholders
  • Perform

    load/performance testing

    using

    JMeter

    or similar tools
  • Write and execute

    SQL queries

    for test data extraction and validation
  • Identify and raise risks on time
  • Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong understanding of

    SDLC

    and

    STLC

  • Hands-on experience with

    JMeter

    for performance testing
  • Intermediate

    SQL proficiency

    (Stored Procedures, data manipulation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in

    Automation Testing

    using

    Selenium WebDriver
