Project Leadership & Business Process Mapping
Lead workshops with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to collect and document requirements for Core HR, Payroll, and OTL.
Conduct detailed business process mapping and gap analyses to ensure client processes align efficiently with Oracle HRMS capabilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, informing clients on best practices for HR, Payroll, and Time & Labor operations.
Solution Design & Configuration
Design and architect comprehensive solutions for Oracle Core HR, Payroll, and OTL, ensuring robust integration with other EBS modules and external third-party systems.
Develop detailed functional design (MD50) and configuration (BR100) documents for all HRMS elements.
Carry out all system configurations, including organizational structures, jobs, positions, payroll definitions, employee records, payroll elements, and OTL rules.
Data Migration & Integration
Collaborate with technical teams to establish data migration strategies for employee records, historical payroll data, and related information.
Define and validate specifications for interfaces and integrations with third-party vendors, such as benefits administrators, time clock systems, and tax service providers.
Testing & Go-Live Support
Develop and execute test plans for unit, system integration (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) across all HRMS functionalities.
Manage all UAT activities, including issue tracking, defect resolution, and formal user sign-off.
Lead readiness activities for go-live, including cutover strategies, targeted user training, and hypercare/post-implementation support.
Documentation & Training
Prepare and maintain all essential project documentation: business requirements, configuration guides, project plans, and training assets.
Provide targeted training and knowledge transfer to HR/payroll administrators, super users, and end-users to ensure full system adoption.
Module Specialization
8+ years as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant, with at least 34 full-cycle HRMS suite implementations.
Deep, hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS R12 Core HR, Payroll, and OTL modules.
Strong command of Oracle’s preferred implementation methodologies (e.g., OUM).
Demonstrated success designing and executing data migration plans and using related tools.
