Oracle DBA TL/SME Location Details: Mumbai (Lower Parel)/ Hyderabad(Gachibowli) Primary Skills/Keywords Mandatory Skills -RAC(Installation, Upgradation and Management) Database backup and recovery, DB Migration and performance tuning Domain exp Prior working exp on Telecom or BFSI companies Job Responsibilities Candidate should have experience in Grid Installation and Grid Upgradation Mandatorily. Experience in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard and knowledge of Golden gate. Expert level understanding of Oracle database architecture. Should have experience & ability to work with various teams to resolve performance issues (development, storage administrators, network administrators, system administrators and business users) Specialized in Oracle RAC, good understanding of complexity of RAC Architecture across Servers, OS, network, storage layer. Exposure to work on Oracle Engineered systems viz Exadata , SSC box & ExaCM . Should have SQL tuning skill and experience at refactoring sql queries to improve performance. Ability to diagnose the performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage Excellent problem-solving skills, should be able to transverse across infrastructure layer to diagnosis issues. Expert at HA features of Oracle database. Complete understanding of Oracle databases backup recovery options. Skill to work under pressure in production environment on databases on all flavours of OS. Candidate should be okay Mumbai/Hyderabad Location(work from office) Domain Experience: Prior experience in Telecom or BFSI sector preferred Key Responsibilities: Database Architecture & Management: Expert-level understanding of Oracle database architecture. Specialized knowledge of RAC (Real Application Clusters), including architecture complexity across servers, OS, networks, and storage layers. Experience managing Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, SSC Box, ExaCM). Performance Tuning & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve SQL performance issues from the database to application level. Collaborate with development, storage, network, and system teams to address performance bottlenecks. Hands-on expertise in SQL tuning and query refactoring. High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Ensure high availability using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate. Strong grasp of backup & recovery strategies for business-critical systems. Ensure database resilience and minimal downtime in production environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work with various stakeholders (business users, infra teams, DBAs) to troubleshoot performance issues. Ability to diagnose database issues across infrastructure layers (DB, application, OS, network, and storage). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under high-pressure environments.
