Job Description

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
Design and implement database structures, including tables, indexes, and views.
Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and AWR reports.
Perform routine backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Implement and maintain database security policies, roles, and permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
Plan and implement database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and application performance.
Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments to meet growing business needs.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide 24/7 support for critical production databases as part of an on-call rotation.
