Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing and optimizing Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance. Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain Oracle databases. Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries for optimal performance. Perform regular database backups and recovery tasks. Implement database security measures and access controls. Collaborate with development teams to optimize database interactions and support application development. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues as they arise. Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations and processes. Skills and Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in Oracle Database administration or related field. Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals. Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming. Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases. Understanding of database security principles and practices. Experience with data migration and database upgrade processes. Knowledge of Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, and Enterprise Manager.
