Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security. You will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that support our business operations. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases in a production environment. Monitor database performance and optimize queries for improved efficiency. Implement backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Collaborate with application developers to design database schemas and support application performance tuning. Perform regular database security assessments and implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in Oracle Database administration and engineering. Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and features including RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming for database management. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud services and database migration strategies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
