Oracle Customer Success Services is a One Oracle approach to ensuring customer success, through a broad set of services and solutions that are supported by certified and experienced implementers, helping to accelerate the entire customer journey. Customer Success Services provides a customer-centric delivery and support-integrated service, in conjunction with Oracle Development. As a sophisticated database support engineer of customer success service organization, you will be responsible to deliver support and services on database, engineered systems and cloud technologies to our premium customers. The support and services covers the entire life cycle of the product starting from architecture design, implementation, optimization, maintenance etc. The role involves working with the customers and ensure they get the best out of our products. 10+ years experience as Oracle DBA + Performance Tuning ==========Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in all areas of Oracle database technology. Advanced level skills in RAC, ASM, Performance tuning, HA, Backup and Recovery Experience in database upgrades, migrations, installations and patching Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues Hands-on with Oracle Database migration/upgrade using different methodologies Data Pump RMAN Transportable Tablespaces. Hands-on database performance troubleshooting skills. DB Performance tuning skills are must. Experience with Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, and Python for custom monitoring and automation Knowledge and experience in administration of engineered system products like Exadata and ZDLRA Experience in Engineered system Maximum Availability Architecture Clear understanding of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC and IORM Understanding Engineered system Health Check Exadata Full stack patching and Upgrade Thorough understanding of Oracle Database Architecture including the latest version of Oracle 11g, 12c 19c. Solid troubleshooting experience in areas such as RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker. Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios. .Troubleshooting various installation and patching issues. Exadata bundle patching includes Storage cell, DB server, PDUs and network switches RDBMS and GRID patching experience Installing GoldenGate software and management processes; these are done in conjunction with the DBA team, as the duties are intentionally segregated Upgrading and/or patching GoldenGate versions (i.e., regular life-cycle management) Assisting in troubleshooting golden gate replication issues Configuring replications (Extract, Pump and Replicate processes), as requested by Solutions projects, including scoping, design and implementation Participating in the scope, design and implementation of Solutions projects
