Oracle Application Database Administrator

As an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) at Teleglobal International in Pune, your role will involve managing Oracle database systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems (12c/19c) with RAC configuration. - Set up and manage standby databases for high availability and disaster recovery. - Perform basic query tuning to optimize database performance. - Implement RMAN backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity. - Monitor database health, performance, and security continuously. - Utilize Exadata knowledge to enhance database performance and efficiency (if applicable). Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. - Strong knowledge of Oracle DBA 12c/19c, RAC, and Standby databases. - Proficiency in basic query tuning techniques. - Experience with RMAN backup and recovery. - Monitoring skills to proactively identify and address issues. - Knowledge of Exadata is a significant advantage. - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is a plus.
