Job Description

Domain: Oracle Database Administration, Performance Tuning, Migration, AI Features (23ai)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality vILT/cILT training sessions on Oracle Database versions 19c to 23ai.
Explain Oracle architecture, storage structures, memory management, and database processes.
Demonstrate installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade procedures.
Cover new AI-powered capabilities in Oracle 23ai, including Select AI and Vector Search.
Conduct hands-on labs on Backup & Recovery (RMAN), Data Guard, and Real Application Clusters (RAC).
Provide practical training on performance tuning, SQL optimization, and resource management.
Assist trainees with troubleshooting, error resolution, and real-world scenarios.
Develop training content, lab guides, assignments, and assessments.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database 19c, 21c, and 23ai administration.
Proficiency in database installation, configuration, patching, and on-prem to cloud migration.
Deep understanding of RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
Experience in configuring Data Guard (Physical & Logical Standby).
Knowledge of Oracle RAC concepts and cluster environment setup.
Expertise in performance tuning using AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports.
Strong fundamentals and practical skills in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and automation.
Familiarity with Oracle 23ai features such as:
- AI Vector Search
- Select AI
- JSON Relational Duality
- Autonomous enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for 19c/21c/23ai
Cloud certifications (OCI / AWS RDS for Oracle / Azure Managed Database)
Experience managing large enterprise database environments
Knowledge of additional databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) optional
