Optometrist

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities: Conduct accurate eye tests . Diagnose refractive errors , binocular vision issues, and other common eye conditions. Provide prescriptions for spectacles and contact lenses. Educate customers about lens types (single vision, bifocal, progressive, etc.) and coating options (anti-glare, blue cut, photochromic). Perform contact lens fittings and trials (if applicable). Customer Experience & Sales Support: Explain prescriptions and guide patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure accurate interpretation of prescriptions. Support the showroom team during busy hours with patient walk-ins and product recommendations. Operational & Administrative: Maintain accurate patient records and eye test documentation. Ensure maintenance and calibration of optometric equipment. Assist in maintaining hygiene and order in the testing room. Key Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Optometry (recognized by a reputed institution). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical optometry or optical retail. Strong skills in refraction, retinoscopy, and customer communication. Friendly, ethical, and customer-focused attitude. Comfortable working in a retail setup with a sales-driven team. Proficient in Hindi and basic English (local language fluency preferred).
