Optometrist

SampadaVR Specialty Eye Care, a pioneer in vitreoretinal disease care in Mallapuram district, is inviting applications for the position of Optometrist. Located in Tirur, we are a boutique eye care center catering to a diverse patient base, including the elderly and premature babies, from Mallapuram and neighboring districts.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be residents of Tirur or the adjoining areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or Diploma from an accredited optometry program.
• Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English.
• Two year work experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations using advanced optometric equipment and techniques.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optometric practices, procedures, and protocols.
• Understand and provide information on eye-related disorders, diseases, and treatment options.
• Efficiently manage and record equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of vision therapy and low-vision rehabilitation services.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in optometry and eye care technology.
