Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist based in Kolkata. The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual impairments, and prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments. Additional responsibilities include managing and monitoring eye health, educating patients on eye care practices, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Proficiency in conducting eye examinations, diagnosing visual impairments, and determining appropriate prescriptions
Knowledge of advanced eye care practices and technologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive patient relationships
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
Licensure to practice as an Optometrist in the required region
Experience in patient education about eye health and vision care is an advantage
