Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct eye tests to diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or medications as needed.
Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical devices according to prescriptions.
Perform refractions to determine the correct prescription for each patient's eyes.
Provide patients with information about their diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions.
Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including test results and prescription data.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-5 years of experience in optometry practice (B.Sc + MS/M.Sc(Science) preferred).
Strong knowledge of myopia management techniques using specialized lenses (e.g., orthokeratology).
Proficiency in dispensing various types of contact lenses (e.g., soft contacts, rigid gas permeable lenses).
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children and adults.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex medical information to patients in a clear manner.
