Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct eye examinations to detect vision problems.
  • Diagnose diseases related to the eyes based on symptoms.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
  • Provide pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care techniques.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and charts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Optometry degree.
  • Valid state optometry license.
  • Strong knowledge of optometry practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
