Ops Support Specialist

The Ops Support Specialist 5 position at Citi involves providing operations support services, including record/documentation maintenance, account maintenance, and coordination with the Operations - Core Team. As an Ops Support Specialist 5, you will act as a liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. Your role is crucial in ensuring day-to-day operations support aligns with Citi's infrastructure and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Follow responsible controls for account maintenance and enforce them strictly. - Deliver professional and timely customer experiences. - Complete necessary data entry in bank systems for maintenance activities. - Review customer transfer documents to ensure all required information is present and properly authorized. - Validate the accuracy of information updated in the system. - Assist in producing department MIS and reporting. Key Deliverables: - Verify and process requests/instructions with proper due diligence. - Communicate effectively with customers and resolve investigation cases within designated time frames. - Adhere to company policies and standards to meet client needs. - Ensure compliance with all Control and Compliance requirements. - Meet SLAs for all businesses. - Ensure timely and accurate processing and customer resolution. - Escalate incomplete/delayed processing promptly. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors/MBA - Experience: 2-4 years in banking operations and operational process management - Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation - Professional Attributes: Good rapport with peers, punctuality, adherence to deadlines - Personal Attributes: Strong comprehension, decision-making abilities, integrity, organizational skills, hardworking nature Other Requirements: - Willingness to work shifts that align with business hours. - Availability for periodic system testing for technology upgrades and Business Continuity Planning, including weekends.
