Ophthalmologist Surgeon

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye diseases and disorders, performing surgical procedures (such as cataract, glaucoma, retinal, or LASIK surgeries), and providing post-operative care. The role requires precision, patient care, and a commitment to excellence in eye health. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditions and vision problems. Perform ophthalmic surgeries including but not limited to cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, squint, and refractive procedures. Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other therapeutic interventions. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and counseling to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in ophthalmology. Ensure compliance with all medical protocols, hospital policies, and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: MBBS with MS/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology (MCH preferred for advanced surgeries). Valid medical license and registration with the medical council. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in ophthalmic surgery (customizable). Proficiency in using ophthalmic equipment and surgical tools. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
