Operator

Qualification:

• B.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Production Department of a Chemical Industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle chemical charging, process monitoring, sampling, and recording of process parameters.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned production area.
• Assist in batch preparation, raw material handling, and packaging activities.
• Report any abnormalities or deviations to the Production Supervisor / Shift In-charge.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental norms during all operations.
• Maintain production logs and process records accurately.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with the maintenance team when required.
• Participate in safety drills and follow PPE and safety instructions strictly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in plant operations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of chemical processes and plant operations.
• Familiarity with process control instruments and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
