Operations Support Analyst 1

As an Officer, Operations Support Analyst 1 at our Chennai, India office, your role involves being the escalation contact between analysts and the business, overseeing functions to ensure timely completion of all activities, assisting with process reviews related to policy changes, reconciling accounts daily and monthly, processing Travelers Checks, tracking and working within required Service Levels, managing work queues, assisting with department MIS and reporting, identifying process enhancements for tangible benefits, and delivering a high level of customer service to internal customers. Your key deliverables include verifying and processing customer requests/instructions through various channels, ensuring proper due diligence, communicating with customers and resolving investigation cases within designated time frames, adhering to company policies and standard frameworks, meeting all Control and Compliance requirements, ensuring day-to-day operations are performed and SLAs are met, timely and accurate processing, and timely escalation of incomplete/delayed processing. To be successful in this role, ideally, you should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of banking experience. Prior experience in processes like settlements, complaints handling, reconciliation, and sanction screening would be an added advantage. Your skills should include flexibility to work in UK/US time zone and holidays, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, knowledge of risk & controls to resolve first level escalated inquiries, computer literacy, ability to grasp in-house systems quickly, and collaborative competency.,
