Operations Manager

The Operation/ Production Manager will

• Lead end-to-end operations cycle
• Oversee manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality standards along with communication with sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build and mentor cross-functional teams across R&D, production, Quality Assurance, Service and Sales.
• This role requires strong team-handling skills, production budgeting control, technical understanding of battery/energy storage manufacturing (or similar industries), and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Ability to ramp-up production as per demand and vice-a-versa.
• Planning with Purchase and Store for material as per order projection

• Production Operations:

  Responsible for planning and executing daily production activities, ensuring manpower allocation, and meeting production targets efficiently. Handling BOM preparation for multiple customised orders at a time and communicating with cross- functional teams to ensure smooth on time delivery of orders for customer satisfaction.

• Quality & Safety Audit Handling:

  Experience handling internal and external Audit, Approvals and Certifications of Products. Ensures product quality, SOPs and ISO guidelines are executed, ensuring all production and quality records are up-to-date and compliant.

• Process Improvement:

  Monitor cycle time, output, and efficiency; implement improvement actions. Reduce production defects, rework, and wastage through structured problem-solving. Introduce best practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintains accurate daily production records, rejection and downtime reports, shift handover notes, and all process-related documentation.

• Team Handling:

  Lead and supervise production supervisors, operators, and technicians. Guide other teams to ensure a smooth end to end product cycle. Provide on-floor guidance, resolve operational issues, and manage shift operations. Conduct regular training to uplift team skills and discipline

Qualification:

Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical)

Experience/Skills:

• Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in a Lithium-ion battery, Battery, EV, Automotive, or related manufacturing
• Proven success managing both technical & commercial operations
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
