Operations Executive

Job Overview:

The Operations Executive will oversee the end-to-end management of in-transit loads, ensuring seamless operations from the point of dispatch to safely unloading. This role involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders, including drivers, shippers, and customers, to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will be capable of resolving operational issues in real-time to maintain smooth in-transit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage In-Transit Operations:

Monitor and track in-transit loads from loading to unloading using tracking systems and GPS tools.

Ensure the timely pickup and delivery of goods while addressing any delays or route deviations.

Maintain real-time communication with drivers, shippers, and customers to keep them updated on load statuses.

• Coordination and Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for all parties involved in the transportation process (drivers, loaders, fulfillment team, and customers).

Address and resolve any issues that arise during transit, such as route changes, vehicle breakdowns, or unforeseen delays.

• Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure all required documentation for in-transit loads is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Verify driver documents, DL, RC permits, and load-related paperwork are in order before dispatch.

• Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify and troubleshoot any operational challenges during transit.

Provide swift solutions for any discrepancies in load damage, delays, or customer concerns.

• Customer Support:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide updates on delivery status.

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and ensuring loads are delivered according to their specifications.

• Coordination with Fulfillment Team:

Work closely with the fulfillment team to ensure smooth loading and unloading operations.

Ensure that all load and vehicle documentation is completed and submitted on time.

• Performance Reporting:

Maintain and report on key operational metrics related to in-transit loads, such as on-time unloading rates, and issue resolution rates.

Provide feedback and insights for process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the transportation and logistics industry is mandatory.
• Proven experience in customer support or fulfillment, Operations roles.
• Sales skills are essential, as the role involves cross-selling and promoting additional services.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in
