Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Process Management:

  • Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, from sourcing to delivery.
  • Streamline procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.

2. Supplier Management:

  • Support sourcing team during supplier identification, evaluation process by providing relevant performance data.
  • Managing and monitoring supplier contracts to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Responsible for material code creation of indirect material category.
  • Support in supplier code creation and complete onboarding process for new suppliers.
  • Follow-up with suppliers on delivery of goods.

3. Cost Optimization & Inventory Control:

  • Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment of stock to meet operational needs.
  • Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality and service level expectations.

4. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supplier reliability and contractual risks.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and reports to facilitate transparency.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

  • Liaise with various departments to understand procurement requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Co-ordinate with SAP team for data management and governance
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams for seamless procurement execution.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on procurement operational performance.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving procurement-related transactional issues.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize procurement analytics to assess spending patterns and vendor performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on procurement costs, efficiency, and savings opportunities.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to enhance sourcing strategies and improve supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for future reference and audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BE in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics.
  • 4-8 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in contract management and supplier performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
