Job Description

Role Overview: As an Operations Engineer at Syniverse, you will be tasked with providing technical solutions to exceptionally difficult problems. Your responsibilities will include addressing day-to-day customer issues, application problems, and concerns that are detailed and complex, requiring thorough analysis and research. Additionally, you will be in charge of installing, configuring, operating, and evolving common infrastructure such as the network, servers, and external services like the cloud. Key Responsibilities: - Provide escalated technical support for complex issues - Lead problem management cases and coordinate support cases with internal technical resources and third-party vendors - Identify, analyze, and resolve assigned tickets through root cause analysis - Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software - Participate in the ticket review process, analyze metrics, and take action based on customer feedback - Continuously monitor production servers and application health, conduct error research, and perform performance benchmarking to ensure operational efficiency Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunication, or equivalent work experience - At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in application support, technical customer support, problem management, relational databases, and programming languages - Certification in operating systems and databases preferred, with Oracle certifications such as OCP, OCA, and SQL Server Certified Engineer being advantageous Additional Details: Join Syniverse and become part of an exciting and growing organization that offers a competitive total compensation package, flexible/remote work options, and a leadership team committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and transparent organizational culture.
