Operations Assistant

Job Summary

The Operations Assistant supports the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the hospital to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments. This role involves coordinating between clinical and non-clinical teams, maintaining operational records, assisting in scheduling, procurement, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Manager in daily hospital operations and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain and update hospital records, logs, and documentation related to operations, maintenance, and compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure that patient flow and service delivery meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Coordinate with front office, nursing, and clinical teams to resolve patient service issues promptly.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and escalate feedback to management.
• Oversee housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning hospital environment.
• Track inventory and assist in procurement of operational supplies and medical consumables.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance schedules with vendors and internal teams.
• Help prepare documentation for audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in hospital operations, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
• Experience in coordinating with clinical and support departments is an advantage.

• Must have good spoken English and organisation skills
• Must be able to work under pressure

Please note this position will initially be based in Sanjivini Hospital, once trained you will be shifted to new project starting in new year.
