Operational Security Lead Engineer (OT)

Job Summary:

• Responsible for Security Risk assessment and implementation of Factory Security Programs and Practices.
• Requires expertise in IT and OT systems cybersecurity specific to Factory Systems.

• Conduct on-site and remote Security Risk assessments of factories.
• Apply IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82 frameworks for OT Security assessment and risk scoring.
• Design, configure, deploy, and integrate Factory Security solutions.
• Deploy and maintain aligned cybersecurity initiatives.
• Understand connectivity of shop floor systems like PLCs, HMIs, and computers.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies tailored to Factory systems.
• Conduct assessments, audits, and hands-on system setup.
• Stay updated on NIST OT/IIoT/IoT and Factory security publications.
• Work knowledge of NIST CSF and other security risk control frameworks.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to Factory cyber risks and incidents.
• Provide consultancy to close technology control gaps.
• Liaise with multiple clients and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Define security architecture and solutions to reduce cyber risk.

Profile Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-8 years total experience; 2-5 years in Factory (ICS/OT) Security.
• Strong knowledge of ICS, OT environments, and related protocols and architectures.
• Experience in OT Security risk assessments and network architecture design.
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools like Armis, Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos, Tenable.
• Knowledge of ISA Purdue Model, ISA 62443, NIST 800-82, and SANS 20 controls.
• Familiarity with industrial network protocol security (IEC 104, Modbus, OPC, Profibus).
• Experienced with Cyber Security tools like EDR/EPP, SIEM/SOAR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Security certifications like ISA 62443, GICSP, CISSP preferred.
• Familiarity with MITRE ICS ATT&CK Framework.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
